On the other hand, the 20X’s fixed power simplicity provides optimum optical design in a compact package at an affordable price. Not only is this spotter, with it’s single moving part, waterproof and fogproof but you also get a larger field of view, lighter weight and a more compact, more durable construction.
When there’s plenty of light, mirage severely limits the use of more than 20X-24X magnification anyway and in low light, about 20X is all that’s useful unless you have an 80mm or larger objective lens. Fully multicoated optics guarantee that whichever little spotter you choose, you’ll get all the brightness and clarity you’ve come to expect from Burris.
