All Leupold illuminated reticle scopes feature the Vari-X III system with Multicoat 4TM lenses and audible and tactical click adjustments. They are all entirely waterproof and fog proof. An 11-position intensity setting dial allows the brightness of the reticle to be adjusted for any situation. A 1/3 volt lithium cell supplies the power necessary to keep the reticle evenly and constantly lit.

For big game hunters, the Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-5x20mm illuminated reticle scope makes the aiming point leap right to the eye and offers fast target acquisition. For more general hunting and sporting applications, the Vari-X III 4.5-14x50mm adjustable objective model is ideal. Both models are available in a matte finish with a choice of Illuminated Duplex¨, illuminated German #4, or illuminated mil-dot reticles.
