Barnes
Varmint Bullet
The
new Barnes Burner VLCÂȘ varmint bullet is a copper-jacketed, lead-core hollowpoint coated
with a solid dry film lubricant that significantly reduces fouling and improves accuracy.
Decreased friction between bullet and bore keeps the
barrel cooler, even at ultra-high velocities.
The
new VLC coating is similar to the solid dry film lubricant used on the XLC coated
X-Bullet. The high-tech coating is individually applied to each bullet then heat cured.
The result is a permanent coating that wont rub off on your hands like messy
film-type lubricants.
The
Barnes Burner VLC varmint bullet is designed for varmint hunters who shoot hundreds of
high-velocity rounds whenever they go afield. The new VLC coated varmint bullets will
initially be available in .224 inch in 40 and 50 grain and offered in 100 and 250 packs.
