Navy Arms Deluxe 1873 .32-20 WCF
Revolver
Navy Arms has announced its new
Deluxe 1873 Single Action .32-20 revolver. It is part of a new Cowboy Combo
Navy Arms introduced in the fall of 2002. Navy Arms will soon introduce an 1892 short
rifle with deluxe walnut and a casehardened receiver in .32-20 as well.
The trend in cowboy action
shooting is towards smaller calibers with lighter recoil, said Val Forgett, III, of
Navy Arms. We wanted to incorporate this desire for lighter recoil with an authentic
caliber of the time period. After consulting with numerous cowboy action shooters, we
believe the .32-20 is the best choice to fill
this need.
The Navy Arms Deluxe 1873 single
action features a high-bright charcoal blued barrel, cylinder, trigger guard, trigger and
backstrap. Both the frame and hammer are beautifully color casehardened. Hand-fit walnut
grips complete the gun.
Aside from these striking features,
the Deluxe .32-20 has advanced performance features as well. Each Deluxe .32-20 revolver
is hand fitted with high-quality Wolff springs, giving it a cleaner hammer drawback,
lighter trigger and smoother hammer fall.
We purchase the springs
directly from Wolff Gunsprings Co. and have them hand-installed by our in-house gunsmiths,
Mr. Forgett added. Wolff Gunsprings has a great reputation for quality and
reliability; we are proud of our association with such a high-quality manufacturer of
component parts.
The Navy Arms Deluxe .32-20 will be
made in limited quantities and is distributed exclusively through Acusport
(1-800-543-3150) to dealers nationwide. Suggested retail is $435.
