RCBS
Mini-Grand
Shotshell Press

When the Grand Shotshell reloading press was introduced, it was welcomed by handloaders. Because this press was so successful, says RCBS, the company has just begun offering the new Mini-Grand, an affordable entry-level press available in both 12- and 20-gauge models.

“The same outstanding quality that made the Grand such a hit is being employed in its new, simpler counterpart,” RCBS says. The seven-station, single-stage press allows reloading with either lead or steel shot (when steel-shot accessories purchased separately are used). The powder hopper holds up to 1/2 pound of powder, while the shot hopper has a 12 1/2-pound capacity. A new shellholder design makes it easy to properly position hulls for loading. The shellholder has seven stations.

The operating arm delivers compound leverage for ease of use and isn’t spring-loaded. A taper crimp die is offered as an optional accessory.

“Based on feedback from our customers and the industry in general, we decided to launch this great addition to our reloading press lineup,” said Allan Jernigan, RCBS general manager. “And as we always remind our reloaders, we put the same great attention to detail in every one of our reloading products.” The press comes with RCBS’s lifetime warranty.

The 12-gauge Mini-Grand will load everything from 2 3/4-inch regular to 3 1/2-inch magnum shotshells, while the 20-gauge version handles 2 3/4- and 3-inch shells. The press can be used with RCBS, Hornady or Ponsness Warren powder and shot bushings. The easy-to-use unit will load up to 200 rounds per hour.
