Ever see a five-year warranty on a tent? Check around; you’re lucky if you get 30 days. Can/Sew tents are made from 100 percent solution-dyed acrylic canvas, the best available in the world. It will not shrink, stretch, fade, mildew or rot. Every other wall tent on the market is made from some form of “cotton duck” canvas. It shrinks on the length and stretches on the width.

You should be able to tie your tent down tightly against the frame, and it should stay like that for years - like these. All contact points with the frame and corners are reinforced with 18-ounce vinyl. All seams and zippers are double stitched. Only YKK #10 molded tooth zippers are used. These tents come standard with a 30-inch door, screen door, one window, #3 brass grommets, 11-inch eves and 10-inch sod cloth.

Spec-Tech Industries/Can-Sew, Inc. leaves its display tent set up year round in Northwest Washington to brave the sun, rain, snow and severe winds with no problems. Tents shown have a 120-degree roof pitch; 110- and 100-degree roof pitch available for milder climates.

All tents and canopies are made to order. Some of the options include doors, windows, a 5- or 10-foot porch, porch enclosure screens, 18-ounce zippered vinyl floors and stove jacks. These options are all made from fireproof materials.

The tent stakes are made from 3/8x1 1/2-inch 6061 aluminum angle. They will not pull out even in soft ground. There is nothing worse than having problems in cold, stormy weather because of your stakes or ropes.
