Hunter’s Extreme CopperMelt

CopperMelt, Inc., has introduced a new product called “Hunter’s Extreme CopperMelt.” It is a very powerful, quick and safe bore cleaner for all fouling. This unique product is water based with a small amount of ammonia that works with enzymes to completely clean and condition the bore. Abrasive metal brushes can cause damage to both the rifling and the bore, while leaving about 30 percent or more of the fouling inside the bore.

Hunter’s Extreme CopperMelt works by enzymatic action to completely remove and dissolve all copper, lead, powder and plastic fouling in just a few minutes on contact, using only a soft loose fitting cotton patch. Hunter’s Extreme CopperMelt is non-abrasive and inert to steel, stainless steel, aluminum, blueing, etc., therefore it cannot harm the gun barrel. Because of the unique chemical and enzyme cleaning action, users don’t have to soak the bore or use abrasive brushes or pastes to try to dislodge the fouling from the bore. Hunter’s Extreme CopperMelt will often remove additional fouling from bores that have been “thoroughly” cleaned with other products.

Shooters using Hunter’s Extreme CopperMelt have usually witnessed dramatically smaller group sizes, first shots from a clean barrel impacting the center of the eventual group, and they are able to shoot more shots before fouling enlarges the group size again. Plus, only a few passes with a damp patch will restore accuracy in less than 90 seconds, muzzle velocity will usually increase, and chamber pressure will usually decrease.

Hunter’s Extreme CopperMelt is great for those who don’t clean their guns very often due to the time and effort involved, for serious shooters who know the benefits of a clean bore or for shooters who just want to shoot more accurately or get more shots between cleanings.
