Pentax Corporation Sport Optics Division recently
launched a new web site at www.pentaxlightseeker.com This site was designed to provide
detailed information on the Pentax Lightseeker line of hunting scopes as well as inform
consumers about how to properly use and mount their scopes.
Each Lightseeker scope is highlighted on the site with specific features and recommended
uses. Users can access a scope comparison chart allowing them to pick and choose scopes
and compare specific characteristics side by side.
The "Scope Construction" page features a cutaway diagram of a Pentax scope with
detailed text call-outs describing the high-quality materials and construction that go
into each scope. While the same superior construction backs each scope, there are still
choices to be made by the end user. The "Reticles and Finishes" section offers
visual examples of the six different reticles and the five finishes currently available.
For those who need a little assistance mounting their
scopes, Pentax has provided step-by-step instructions, mounting specifications for each
scope and photo examples in "How to Mount a Scope." The "Customer
Service" section outlines warranty information and instructs users how to contact
Pentax directly for assistance. Users can find answers to many of their scope-related
questions immediately via the "FAQ" (Frequently Asked Questions) or the
"Troubleshooting" sections.
