SensorSafe has introduced the next
generation of handgun storage by providing instant access with codeless and keyless entry.
You don’t have to worry about hiding keys or remembering combinations due to the
technology incorporated into this safe. The SensorSafe is constructed of 3mm thick steel
and equipped with an inner housing, where your firearm is held in a suede lined cradle.
At the heart of this piece of
security equipment is an electronic communication locking system comprised of a code (key)
and a decoder (lock). The sensor, which is located front and center, acts as the system’s
eye. When a tiny portable transponder fitted into a ring, bracelet or wristwatch is placed
close to the safe’s sensor, the safe’s decoder compares the code imbedded in the
transponder with its own code. If the two match, the safe unlocks!
The whole process only takes about
100 microseconds. Depress the gun housing lid, and the SensorSafe virtually places your
firearm in your hand. The electronic keyless entry system uses a 128 character
identification code, which means that each SensorSafe’s code is one of about 64
billion possibilities. Plus, the SensorSafe is equipped with a motion detector and alarm
to deter tampering. By the way, the SensorSafe can be mounted in any position.
