Mossy Oak New Break-Up Pattern

Toxey Haas and the team at Mossy Oak have introduced a radically new camouflage pattern for 2002. Based upon the company’s best-selling pattern, the pattern will incorporate three important new concepts that significantly increase the effectiveness of the pattern.

“We will call it New Break-Up,” explained Haas, founder and CEO of Haas Outdoors, “although the new pattern is more of a reinvention of original Break-Up than an improvement. We’ve utilized three breakthrough concepts in camouflage technology to set an entirely new standard of realism. It’s like nothing you have ever seen before!”

New Break-Up will feature a computer-enhanced background of digitized bark, which is overlaid with a subtly mottled Bottomland pattern. Ghost Shadows, which depict the shading effect of branches and leaves that are out in front of the elements in the pattern, significantly increase the three-dimensional effect of original Break-Up. All of the natural elements in the pattern (bark, leaves and limbs) are computer-enhanced digital images for exceptional realism.
