Nosler
AccuBond Bullet
Nosler
is one of the most recognized
names in handloading. For years the companys famed dual-lead-core Partition bullets
have been the standard other hunting bullets have been measured against.
While
the time-proven Partition continues to be highly popular, Nosler has recently added
another hunting bullet to its lineup. Nosler describes its new AccuBond as a High
Performance Bonded-Core Bullet. Bonding is intended to keep jacket and core together
after the bullet strikes game, which should produce deeper, surer penetration.
This
is a serious hunting bullet designed to typical Nosler standards, the company
says. AccuBond represents the most advanced bonded core bullet technology to date.
Through a proprietary bonding process that eliminates voids in the bullet core, AccuBond
marries Noslers traditional copper-alloy jacket with its special lead-alloy core.
The
result, Nosler adds, is a bullet that flies true, penetrates deep and retains
its weight and wont cause extensive barrel fouling. I havent yet
had the opporÂÂtunity to use Noslers new AccuBond bullets but look forward to giving
them a try in the not-too-distant future.
Noslers
AccuBond bullet is currently available for .270, 7mm, .30, .338 and .375-caliber rifles.
