Nosler AccuBond Bullet

Nosler is one of the most recognized names in handloading. For years the company’s famed dual-lead-core Partition bullets have been the standard other hunting bullets have been measured against.

While the time-proven Partition continues to be highly popular, Nosler has recently added another hunting bullet to its lineup. Nosler describes its new AccuBond as a “High Performance Bonded-Core Bullet.” Bonding is intended to keep jacket and core together after the bullet strikes game, which should produce deeper, surer penetration.

This is “a serious hunting bullet designed to typical Nosler standards,” the company says. “AccuBond represents the most advanced bonded core bullet technology to date. Through a proprietary bonding process that eliminates voids in the bullet core, AccuBond marries Nosler’s traditional copper-alloy jacket with its special lead-alloy core.

“The result,” Nosler adds, “is a bullet that flies true, penetrates deep and retains its weight – and won’t cause extensive barrel fouling.” I haven’t yet had the opportunity to use Nosler’s new AccuBond bullets but look forward to giving them a try in the not-too-distant future.

Nosler’s AccuBond bullet is currently available for .270, 7mm, .30, .338 and .375-caliber rifles. For more information, write Nosler, Dept. H, PO Box 671, Bend OR 97709; or visit: www.nosler.com.
